Dragging heavy vacuum cleaners, mops, and buckets on Saturdays or Sundays has a great time, but the weekly floor tilt routine is essential to keep the hard floor in top condition. The appeal of the Tineco Floor One S5 smart cordless vacuum cleaner and mop is obvious: by integrating the dry cleaning and wet cleaning functions into one device, the number of tools that need to be taken out every week is reduced by half, and it is possible to reduce the number you spend on cleaning the floor time.

The S5 looks similar to most other cordless vacuum cleaners, but it contains a pair of water tanks-a 0.8-liter clean water tank and a 0.7-liter dirty water tank-and a special soft roller brush for vacuuming and cleaning the floor at the same time. The digital display on the top of the S5 lets you know when the dirty water tank is full and the clean water tank is empty, as well as the current battery level and when you need to run the S5 self-cleaning cycle. The display also shows the output of the S5's iLoop smart sensor, which detects how dirty your floor is. When the circular band around the display is red, it means your floor is dirty, when it is blue, it means the floor is clean. In this way, S5 provides you with continuous real-time feedback as you clean the floor.

S5 requires minimal assembly. You only need to slide the handle into the body of the S5 until you hear a click. Next, plug the power cord into the charging base and plug it into the wall. S5 comes with a number of accessories, including an additional filter and roller brush, a cleaning tool and a bottle of floor cleaning fluid, most of which can be stored on the charging base.

S5 can handle dust and dirt as well as liquid spills.

It takes four to five hours to fully charge the S5, and the voice assistant will notify you when the process starts and completes. You can also pair the S5 with the Tineco app, although I found a problem with the Wi-Fi connection process, and the app is almost useless outside of your cleaning work history. To prepare for cleaning, you remove the clean water tank from the front of the vacuum cleaner and fill it to the specified line with tap water. If your floor is particularly dirty, you can add a bottle of cleaning fluid. Next, push the fuel tank back to S5 until you hear a click.

Press the power button and tilt the handle, S5 will advance by itself. If you are used to pushing around with a heavy upright vacuum cleaner, you will be surprised to find that it takes so little effort to move this cordless model-it seems to just slide on the floor. By default, S5 runs in automatic mode, adjusting the brush speed, suction and water flow according to the amount of dirt on the floor. When you need to deal with heavy work such as overflow and mud, you can manually switch it to Max mode by pressing the button on the display. Again, the voice assistant confirms the mode change.

Cleaning with S5 is a pleasure. Thanks to its self-propelled and flexible twist and turn capabilities, the vacuum can do most of the work and can be easily operated under and around the furniture. I can fit it into small spaces that my bulky traditional vacuum cleaner cannot enter, such as toe kicks under my sofa and kitchen and bathroom cabinets. However, it does not fit on either side of the toilet, so I had to rely on my standard tools to clean these areas.

S5 uses iLoop smart sensor technology to determine how dirty your floor is and adjust its performance accordingly.

It is very pleasant to watch the monitoring loop gradually change from red to blue as you clean, and of course, the results prove it. Whether I use it to absorb daily dirt or strange spills, S5 keeps my floor spotless. There were no stripes or water left after mopping, which left a particularly deep impression on me. This is a common problem I found in sweeping robots/mopping robots.

S5 requires regular maintenance, not only to maintain optimal performance, but also to minimize odors. As mentioned earlier, when the dirty water tank needs to be cleaned, the monitoring circuit will be red. You need to take out and empty the water tank, rinse it, and then use a cleaning tool to remove all remaining debris. Before I dumped the dirty water, I used this tool to pull out the pet's hair because I didn't want those hairballs to run into my sink drain. You will also need to rinse and dry the filter and water tank cap. Before replacement, the filter needs to be completely dry, which usually means a period of time in the sun, so a spare filter is included.

It is easier to run a self-cleaning cycle on the roller brush. When the clean water tank is at least 40% full, you park the S5 on its stand, and then press the self-cleaning button on the handle. S5 will rinse clean water with a brush, and the voice assistant will let you know its progress. The entire cycle takes about 5 minutes. Some jobs require deeper cleaning. For these, you can remove the brush and use the same cleaning tool to remove tangles and debris, and then rinse the brush with tap water.

S5 is self-propelled and cordless, cleaning floors more effectively than traditional vacuum cleaners and mops and robot vacuum cleaners/mop mixers.

I have never cleaned the floor like I did with Tineco Floor One S5. It not only provides excellent results, but also has a higher cleaning efficiency. Without the need to manipulate heavy bodies and ropes, I was able to cut the cleaning time by half. The 35-minute run time may require charging once or twice during the cleaning of a larger house, but it is enough to cover the entire downstairs level of my apartment. S5 will not eliminate your need for conventional vacuum cleaners and mops, but it will reduce the frequency with which you need to call them. It is recommended.

The Tineco Floor One S5 smart cordless vacuum cleaner and mop will make your floor cleaning procedures easier and more efficient.
