Kick back and let a robot vacuum clean your house. These models won't break the bank.

Maybe you’ve never tried a robot vacuum, or you’ve got an older machine and want to step up to a smarter one, like a model that features a self-emptying option or a built-in mop. Whatever your reason, robot vacuum deals are a sure thing on Amazon Prime Day.

If you’re new to the robot vacuum world, they're largely differentiated by suction power (measured in Pa, the higher the better), the on-board and in-app smarts (LiDAR or optical tracking is nice to have), and whether or a self-emptying bin is included. Beyond that, there are bells and whistles like different kinds of brushes, machines built for homes with pets (and pet mess), auto-home functions when batteries run low, and smart home integration so you can tell your vacuum to clean the kitchen or the living room specifically.

Save a whopping 50% on the iRobot Roomba i7+. Utilizing dual multi-surface rubber brushes and high efficiency filtration, this cleaning machine can trap 99% of particles as small as 0.7 microns (one micron is 1/25,000 of an inch, FYI), ensuring your home will be the cleanest it's ever been. Smart mapping technology allows this unit to learn the layout of your home and customize its cleaning habits, and the generously sized self-emptying base makes it so that you can set a schedule and let the Roomba i7+ do its thing without guidance for up to 60 days.

Shark has been in the cleaning industry for nearly two decades and it's known for powerful upright vacuums and portable cordless vacuums. Its robot vacuums, therefore, are a result of years of experience and they’re equipped to handle all your day-to-day cleaning needs. The Shark AV2501S has all the smart features of the newer robot vacuums, including LiDAR mapping and a customizable routine via an app, plus a self-emptying base. It also does a thorough job at cleaning your home; going over an area not once, but twice—back to front and side to side—to ensure the job is done right the first time.

Boasting 5,000PA suction power and a mop pad with 6N downward pressure and 180r/min of rotation speed, the Ecovacs Deebot X1 is a cleaning powerhouse. Included with your purchase is an all-in-one Omni station that not only removes dirt, but cleans and dries mop heads with hot air and tops off the vacuum’s water tank. With onboard AI, Ecovacs Deebot X1 can identify, recognize, and avoid obstacles above 2 inches in height. This is a big deal for those of us with a model that often gets tangled up in blankets or rugs and trapped in tight spaces.

To sweeten the deal on your new home helper, Amazon is currently offering a promotion: Save 20% on X1 series accessory kits when you purchase one or more Ecovacs Deebot X1 series products offered by Smart Home Robotics.

This two-in-one robot vacuum and mop by Roborock will have your house clean in a jiffy thanks to 2500Pa suction and sonic vibration technology. Suitable for both hard surfaces and carpet thanks to intelligent sensors, the Roborock S7+ won’t leave a sopping mess behind on the carpet like other robot vacuum cleaners have been reported to do. The self empty base holds up to 120 (!) days worth of dirt and dander when using two dust bags and the multi-layer air filtration system within keeps the dust where it belongs: in the trash. That and the large battery, which allows for a run time of up to 180 minutes, makes this mop an ideal fit for more spacious homes.

Amazon is also offering a promotion on this brand: Save 30% on a washable filter set when you purchase one or more Roborock Auto-Empty Docks.

If your budget is a little higher, the iRobot Roomba j7+ received an outstanding score in PCMag’s review. With the ability to empty its own dustbin and smart multi-story mapping and visual navigation, which allows it to learn the rooms and layout of your home, the iRobot's Roomba i7+ truly does all the work for you. You can create Clean Zones and Keep Out Zones, and tell your Roomba to clean a specific room all from the iRobot app. Most importantly, this Roomba is intelligent enough to avoid pet waste. While this may seem like a gimmicky feature, I have experienced firsthand the horror of having a smart vacuum run over dog droppings and the clean-up afterwards is not fun.

With dual multi-surface brushes, power-lifting suction, and Dirt Detect Sensors, the iRobot Roomba 692 will be a boon when it comes to keeping your home clean. You get 90 minutes of clean on a single charge and this smart device will return to the charger when it needs to and pick up right where it left off once it has more juice. Intelligent AI allows it to learn your home layout and also your cleaning routine, and it will even suggest personalized schedules through the iRobot HOME app.

Also on sale is a bundle including the iRobot Roomba 692 and a replenishment kit containing replacement brushes and filters for an additional $50.

The iRobot Roomba i3+ Evo is the company’s most affordable robot vacuum with a self-emptying dustbin. While its battery life is on the average side, it does return to its dock when its battery is low and will resume where it left off once it's recharged. Unlike its more expensive siblings, the i3+ Evo can only remember a single floor, meaning it's not well-suited for homes with multiple levels.

The Roborock S6 Pure has 2,000Pa of suction power and a built-in mop function, which makes it a versatile cleaning tool for your home. This model also features LiDAR navigation that enables it to accurately map out your home for more detailed cleaning and it can recognize up to four levels in your home as well as your cleaning preference for each. The onboard 180ml water tank is suitable for mopping homes up to 1,610 square feet.

The Shark AI VACMOP is a multi-functional robot that vacuums and mops, while avoiding carpets. LiDAR technology quickly and accurately maps your home; paired with the SharkClean app, this allows you to set both cleaning areas and No-Go Zones and tailor your cleaning needs. The AI laser navigation has object detection, ensuring that you can leave the cleaning to the Shark AI without having to micromanage.

Sporting three different types of brushes to handle any type of mess on a multitude of surfaces, the Shark AV752 ION will take some of the pressure off you when it comes to cleaning. The low-profile build (only 3.5 inches tall) allows this robot vacuum to get to those hard-to-reach places, and intelligent features like ledge sensing and mapping will help it stay out of trouble. You get up to two hours of cleaning on a single charge, and it will return to its base once the job is done or if it needs to charge.

The IQ includes the same features we’ve come to expect from Shark, such as row-by-row cleaning, a self-cleaning brushroll, and intelligent mapping systems—with the added benefit of an XL self-empty base that doesn’t need to be emptied for up to 45 days. Results may vary depending on how much dust, dander, and debris the vacuum regularly picks up in your home. With the help of the onboard IQ Navigation, you can create cleaning routines or simply ask it to target specific areas, via the app or with voice control. This is the model I picked up myself during the sale, and it’s worked wonders on my carpeted-vinyl combo. My cat and dog aren’t the biggest fans (they probably think it's some kind of monster), but they’re not exactly offering to help with the housework, so the robot vacuum stays.

The ILIFE V5s Pro is an affordable 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop. Intelligent sensors prevent the ILIFE V5s Pro from falling down stairs or running into furniture for truly hands-off operation. With multiple cleaning modes, long battery life (up to 110 minutes on a single charge), and the ability to schedule cleaning, your house will never be cleaner.
